Born in Hyogo Prefecture. Graduated from University of Tsukuba. Head Designer of GRAPH. Kitagawa was cited in "New Blood" as one of 20 contemporary Japanese "movers and shakers" in the realms of art and design. His works featured in "Idea" grabbed the attention of designers worldwide, leading to his selection to serve on the juries of the D&AD and NY ADC. His works are in the permanent collection of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France. In 2008, he exhibited at London's Frieze Art Fair. Recipient of numerous awards including JAGDA New Designer Award and Tokyo TDC Award. Member of AGI.
