大宮氏が手がけた映像作品を、CM、テレビドラマ、舞台、映画、プロモーションビデオなど、テーマごとに来場者がiPadで視聴できるようにするとともに、各作品のキャプチャ画像をキャンバス出力したものを額装し、壁面いっぱいに展示、美術館のような雰囲気を演出した。また、展示空間を大胆に使用し、壁画やインスタレーションによる新作を発表。7年間のOL時代と独立後の7年間に手がけた膨大な仕事を振り返る展覧会となった。

The exhibition introduced Ms. Omiya’s video works, with visitors provided with iPads on which they could watch her commercials, TV dramas, films, promotional videos and other works arranged by theme. Captured images of her works, output on canvas, were famed and displayed on the walls in the manner of an art museum. She made bold use of the display space to show new works including wall painting and installation. The exhibition served as a retrospective of the enormous volume of works Ms. Omiya made during her seven years working for a company and seven years as a freelancer.

大阪生まれ。広告代理店勤務を経て、2006年に独立。映画監督、脚本家、演出家、CMディレクター／プランナー、さらにはテレビでの音楽番組MCにラジオパーソナリティなど多方面で活躍。近年では言葉と造形によるインスタレーションの体験型個展が話題になるなど枠に捉われないバラエティ豊かな活動を続けている。

大阪生まれ。広告代理店勤務を経て、2006年に独立。映画「海でのはなし。」で映画監督デビュー。主な著書に、『生きるコント』『生きるコント２』（文春文庫）、絵本『グミとさちこさん』（講談社　絵/荒井良二）。現在、『サンデー毎日』にてエッセイ「なんとか生きてますッ」連載中。舞台「GOD DOCTOR」（新国立劇場）、「SINGER 5」（紀伊国屋ホール）の作演出。テレビドラマ「木下部長とボク」「ROOM OF KING」「the波乗りレストラン」（総合演出・脚本）、「デカ黒川鈴木」「三毛猫ホームズの推理」（脚本）、「おじいさん先生」（総合演出）、「サラリーマンNEO」（脚本参加）、スピッツ、ケツメイシ、山崎まさよし、ハナレグミなどのPVも手がける。
2012年2月渋谷PARCO MUSEUMにて開催した初めての個展、言葉と造形のインスタレーション「思いを伝えるということ」展で1万２千人を動員。その後、札幌PARCO、京都FOILギャラリー、せんだいメディアテークに巡回。同展をまとめた『思いを伝えるということ展のすべて』（FOIL出版）　と、詩と短編集『思いを伝えるということ』(文藝春秋)が好評発売中。2013年2月には第２弾「生きているということ」展を同じく渋谷PARCO MUSEUMにて開催。1月18日～2月24日表参道のギャラリー EYE OF GYREでの絵と造形による個展「A HOUSE OF LOVE BY ELLIE OMIYA」にて、初めて言葉のないアート展を開催した。
ユーストリームの生配信番組「スナックエリー」（ほぼ毎週月曜22:00～）ではママ（MC）として多彩なゲストを迎え、全国の視聴者と乾杯している。

Born in Osaka, Ellie Omiya worked for an advertising agency before going freelance in 2006. She wears a multitude of hats: as film director, scriptwriter, author, producer, commercial film director and planner, TV emcee and radio personality, among others,. in recent years she has continued to be active in a boundless variety of fields, one of her most talked-about endeavors being a "hands-on" solo exhibition featuring an installation of words and shapes.

Born in Osaka, Omiya worked at an advertising agency before striking out on her own in 2006. She made her directorial debut with the movie 'Umi de no hanashi.' Books she has authored include "Ikiru konto" and "Ikiru konto 2" (Bunshun Bunko) and the picture book "Gumi to sachiko-san" (Kodansha / Illustrated by Ryoji Arai). She currently writes the 'Nan to ka ikitemasu' essay column for the "Sunday Mainichi" weekly magazine. For the theater, she has written and directed 'God Doctor' (New National Theater, Tokyo) and 'Singer 5' (Kinokuniya Hall). She has also been involved with a number of television dramas, including 'Kinoshita-bucho to boku,' 'Room of King,' and 'The Naminori Restaurant' (general director, scriptwriter); 'Deka Kurokawa Suzuki' and 'Mikeneko Holmes no suiri' (scriptwriter), 'Ojiisan-sensei' (general director); and 'Sarariman Neo' (scriptwriting team) as well as promotional videos for musical artists including Spitz, Ketsumeishi, Masayoshi Yamazaki, and Hanaregumi.
Omiya's first solo exhibition, an installation of words and shapes called 'Omoi wo tsutaeru to iu koto' held at the Parco Museum in Shibuya in February 2012, drew 12,000 people and later toured to the Parco in Sapporo, the Foil Gallery in Kyoto, and the Sendai Mediatheque. The related "Omoi wo tsutaeru to iu koto ten no subete" (Foil Shuppan), a book all about the exhibition, and "Omoi wo tsutaeru to iu koto" (Bungei Shunju), a book of poems and short stories, are now available. A second solo exhibition at the Parco Museum in Shibuya, 'Ikiteiru to iu koto,' was held in February 2013. 'A House of Love by Ellie Omiya,' a solo exhibition of paintings and forms—her first art exhibition without words—was held at the Eye of Gyre gallery in Omotesando from 18 January to 24 February.
As the emcee of 'Snack Ellie,' a live program streamed on Ustream (Mondays from 22:00 nearly every week), Omiya welcomes colorful guests and shares a toast with listeners around the country.

兵庫県加西市生まれ。筑波大学卒業。GRAPHヘッドデザイナー。『NEW BLOOD] （2001）で、建築・美術・デザイン・ファッションの今日を動かす20人の一人として紹介され、また『アイデア』に掲載された作品の圧倒的なクオリティが世界のデザイン界に波紋を呼び、英国D&AD賞とNY ADC賞の審査員に相次いで選出。AGI会員。フランス国立図書館「近年のデザインと印刷の優れた本」として作品永久保存。2008年ロンドンFRIEZEARTFAIR出展。JAGDA新人賞、東京TDC賞他受賞多数。

Born in Hyogo Prefecture. Graduated from University of Tsukuba. Head Designer of GRAPH. Kitagawa was cited in "New Blood" as one of 20 contemporary Japanese "movers and shakers" in the realms of art and design. His works featured in "Idea" grabbed the attention of designers worldwide, leading to his selection to serve on the juries of the D&AD and NY ADC. His works are in the permanent collection of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France. In 2008, he exhibited at London's Frieze Art Fair. Recipient of numerous awards including JAGDA New Designer Award and Tokyo TDC Award. Member of AGI.
