Profile
Born in Kyoto. Completed Master's Couse in Visual Design, Kyoto City University of Arts in 1970. Settled in Tokyo; joined Hakuhodo. Return to Kyoto; became a free-lance woodcut print artist in 1975. His main awards include, Clio Prize (N.Y), Salon d'Autumne and Societe Nationale des Beaux-Arts at Grand Palais (Paris). Sixteen woodcut prints ware included in the permanent collection of the British Museum.
