Profile
The Dutch design group, Studio Dumbar was founded by Gert Dumbar in 1977. Their involvement in public design, such works done for the Dutch Railways, the Dutch Postal and Telecom Services, the Dutch Police and paper currency designs have been highly acclaimed. The group does not only represent the dutch design but also is a leader of the European design world. The Studio Dumbar created a range of typography that anticipated the present computer age and continues to produce provocative works that surprise the public. Studio Dumbar won many national and international prizes. Gert Dumbar has been the chairman of the Dutch Association of Graphic Designers.
