Profile
Born in Barcelona, Spain, he began working professionally in 1965 and was a freelance illustrator in Paris after 1970. He returned to Barcelona in 1977 and established a studio. His clients include Barcelona City, the Cultural Department of the Cataluna government, Cataluna T.V., and La Bangualdia Newspaper. Torrent undertook the creation of an image for an AIDS organization in Spain. Additionally, he was entrusted with the making of the Barcelona Olympics commemorative stamp in 1992. Recently, he has been internationally active with projects in France, Japan and China. He has been the recipient of a number of awards from the Graphic Designers Association of Spain. He has had solo exhibition in all parts of France and Spain.
