Born in Oklahoma, U.S.A., he studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York and was a member of Push Pin Studios for 5 years. He opened is own studio in 1963. His work was in "PLAYBOY" in 1959 and his illustrations have been in many publications including "LIFE," "TIME," "Look," "Sports Illustrated," and "Esquire." He has been an art director and a graphic designer. He has many exhibitions in countries around the world and has many awards. He became an honorary professor of the School of Visual Arts in 1990. He entered the NY. ADC Hall if Fame in 1995 and was named "Applemaster" for his creative Mackintosh activities in 1996.
