Born in France, he graduated from the National Parisian School of Art. He received attention at places such as International Poster Biennale, Warsaw in 1986. Not limiting himself to France, he participated in many biennales and joint exhibitions around the world. He had 38 solo exhibitions between 1986 and 1994. He is a prominent French and European poster artist. His many awards include the 1987 and 1992 Paris National Library Cultural Poster Grand Prize and the 1988 International Graphic Design Biennale, Bruno, Bronze Award.

Born in Tunis (Tunisia). Graduated from l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts of Paris (painting section), he turned to poster and graphic design early on. As a poster designer, he mainly works in the field of culture (theater, opera, music, dance, museum, festival) and that of institutions (local collectivities, public institutions). He also designs and produces books and, in cooperation with graphic designers of his studio, designs and produces numerous visual identities for public institutions as well as description systems for museums and temporary exhibitions in and out of France. As such, he has organized individual exhibitions of posters in France and in a number of foreign countries (Holland, Germany, Rumania, Yugoslavia, Poland, Austria, Portugal, Mexico, URSS, Uruguay, Chili, Finland, India, Philippines, Peru, Cuba, Greece, South Africa, Italy, Czechoslovakia, Argentine, Hungary, Albania, Spain, Japan, Denmark, Turkey, Paraguay, China, Malta, Bolivia, Cambodia, Ecuador and Canada). He has won numerous awards from most of the great international competitions of poster design (Poland, Finland, Czechoslovakia, USA, China, Japan, Russia, Taiwan…) where he had also been invited as member of the jury on many occasions. In France, he was awarded the Great Award of Cultural Poster at the National Library of France in 1987 and 1992. He also devotes his time to education: he is professor at ESAG/Penninghen in Paris. He also runs poster design workshops in France, Italy, Sweden, Israel, Canada, Mexico, Bolivia, Paraguay, Brazil, China, Taiwan and Australia. He is commissioner to the exhibitions "Graphic Designers around the World", "East Coast / West Coast. Graphic Designers in USA", "Swinging London, Graphic Design and Music Today", "9 Women Graphic Designers", "We love books! A World Tour", "The American Dream", "Live in Tokyo" and "Destination Russia", "North-South. Graphic Designers of Europe and Latin America" presented in 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012 at the Graphic Design Month in Echirolles (books published at Textuel Editions), and to "The Livre de Poche is 50 years old" in March 2003 at the Pompidou Center in Paris. He was general commissioner to the Graphic Design Festival in 2014 in Paris. He is member of the AGI (Alliance Graphique Internaionale) since 1997.
