ドイツのAGI（国際グラフィック連盟）メンバーの中から27名のグラフィックデザイナーが参加。ポスターを中心に、原則として各デザイナーの自選3作品を展示。作品は、映画や演劇のポスター、展覧会のためのポスターやコンサートのポスター、政治的メッセージを込めたものなど幅広く、イラストを用いたものからフォトグラフィカルなもの、コンピュータを使用した文字の構成に至るまで、その表現もバラエティに富んだものであった。

This exhibition focused on 27 German AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale) member graphic designers, who selected three of their own works for entry. The amazing diversity of the works range from posters for the cinema, the theatre, exhibitions, and concerts as well as works with political messages, featuring illustrations or photography to computer-processed text layouts.

1992年、ダニエラ・ハウフェとデトレフ・フィードラーによって、ベルリンに設立されたグラフィックチーム。1996年書籍のデザインと出版を目的として「シアンプレス」を創設。ポスター、本、雑誌、マルチメディアワークなど文化施設から依頼されるプロジェクトを数多く手がけている。クライアントはベルリン国立歌劇場、ベルリン自由放送、バウハウス・デッサウ財団、ベルリン芸術アカデミーのほか、ギャラリーや出版社など多数。2人は共にライプチヒのアカデミー・オブ・ビジュアルアーツの教授であり、AGI会員。NYのMoMAやライン下流のエミリッヒにあるポスター美術館、ハンブルク美術工芸博物館などに数多くコレクションされている。メンバーは他に、カーチャ・シュヴァレンベルク、ユリア・フックス、シュミット（犬）。

Established in 1992 in Berlin by Daniela Haufe and Detlef Fiedler. 1996 cyanpress was founded for the design and publication ob books. The team has been involved with many projects commissioned by cultural facilities, including books, magazines, movies, and multimedia works. Its clients include not only the Berlin State Opera, Radio Free Berlin, the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation and the Berlin Academy of Arts, but also a large number of galleries and publishing companies. Haufe and Fiedler are both professors at the Leipzig Academy of Visual Arts and members of AGI. Their most recent signature work includes the design of the German Pavilion for the 2004 Venice International Exhibition of Architecture. Posters by cyan are held by many poster collections, including those of the MoMA in New York, the Poster Museum in the Lower Rhineland at Emmerich, and the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, Hamburg. Other members of cyan are Ketja Schwalenberg, Julia Fushs and Schmitt.

He is one of the founding members and the oldest of the Grappa Design.

ドイツのドレーゼン生まれ。1960年代後半にデュッセルドルフのペーター・バーレン職業訓練学校で学んだ後、フリーのグラフィックデザイナー、コピーライターとして活動。1970年スタジオ設立。近年はポスターデザインを多く手がける。1983年第5回ラハチ国際ポスタービエンナーレで大賞、第12回ワルシャワ国際ポスタービエンナーレで名誉賞、1993年ドイツ・コミュニケーションデザイン・コンクールで最高デザイン・クオリティ賞など多数受賞。

Born in Dresden, Germany, he studied at he Peter Baren Vocational Training School in Dusseldorf during the latter half of the 1960's. He worked after that as a freelance graphic designer and copy writer. His studio was established in 1970 and is involved in many poster design recently. His many awards include the 5th Lahti International Poster Biennale Grand Prize in 1983, the Honorary Award at the 12th Warsaw International Poster Biennale and the Grand Design Quality Award at the 1993 German Communication Design Competition.

Born in Hamburg, he studied at the Works School of Art and the University of Formative Art in Hamburg from 1961-66. He became a free graphic designer in 1966 and a professor at the Berlin University of Art in 1994. His many awards include the Essen Poster Museum Gold and the Warsaw International Poster Biennale Gold.

Born in Essen, Germany, and studied graphic design at the School of Design in Basel, Switzerland. In 1961, together with Klaus Oberer, he founded the Studio Mendell & Oberer in Munich. In 2000 this studio was reorganizes as the Pierre Mendell Design Studio. His numerous awards include Gold Medals from the Art Directors Club Germany and the Art Directors Club New York, and first prize at the International Biennial of Theatre Poster at Rzeszow, Poland. Pierre Medell's work has been exhibited in the Die Neue Sammlung, Munich, the Munich City Museum, the International Design Centre Berlin, the Muzeum Plakatu Warsaw, the Centro de la Imagen Mexico City and in Chaumont, France. His works are included in the Graphic Design Collection of the Museum of Modern Art New York. He is a member of the AGI/ 

ニコラウス・オット（1947年ゲッティンゲン生まれ）とベルナルド・シュタイン（1949年ベルリン生まれ）の二人は、ベルリンの美術大学の学生時代に出会い、1978年からスタジオ「オット＋シュタイン」で共同で仕事を始める。1978年からカッセル美術大学教授（ビジュアルコミュニケーション専攻）。AGI会員。

The two, Nicholaus Oto (born in Gottingen, Germany in 1947) and Bernard Stein (born in Berlin 1949) , met while the were students in Berlin at the Hochshule der Kunste. The began working together by starting a studio, Ott + Stein, together in 1978. They have held a joint professorship in Visual Communications at the Kunsthochshule Kassel since 1978 and are AGI members. 

ノウシュトレリツ市（メタレンブルク）生まれ。1955～58年国立ハダマル・ガラス工芸専門学校でガラス絵画家の養成教育を受ける。1958～63年カッセル美術大学で自由制作と応用グラフィックスを学び、74年からカッセル総合大学のグラフィックデザイン教授。彼の作品の数々は、ニューヨーク近代美術館をはじめとする世界有数の美術館にコレクションされている。

Born in Neustrelitz (Mecklenburg), and was trained as a glass painter from 1955 to 1958 at the National Glass Technical School of Hadamar. He studied free production and applied graphics from 1958 to 1963 at Fine Arts of College of Kassel and became a graphic design professor at Kassel Comprehensive University. In 1987 he became the visual communication professor at Kassel University. Many of his works are in collections in leading museums around the world starting with the New York Museum of Modern Art.

オーストリア生まれ。西ドイツで植字工見習いを終了後、スイスのAGS（バーゼル工芸学校）で、モダンタイポグラフィの泰斗エミール・ルーダーや、ロベルト・ビュヒラー、クルト・ハウエルトのもとで学ぶ。バーゼル、西ベルリン、ストックホルム、モントリオール、バンクーバー、大阪、デュッセルドルフで働いた後、1977年より大阪在住。大塚製薬の医薬パッケージやポカリスエット、IPSAや資生堂MAQuillAGEのブランドアイデンティティをはじめ多数のデザインを手掛ける。同時に、『タイポグラフィック・リフレクション』などの自主出版活動も行う。2000 年より2010 年まで神戸芸術工科大学にて、2006 年から1年半はソウルの弘益大学校にて教鞭をとる。

Born in Austria. Completing a compositor apprenticeship in West Germany, he studied under Emil Ruder – the master of modern typography – Robert Büchler, and Kurt Hauert at AGS (The Basel School of Design) in Switzerland. After passing through Basel, West Berlin, Stockholm, Montreal, Vancouver and Düsseldorf, he finally settled down in Osaka in 1977. Schmid’s work ranges various fields including editorial design, packaging of ethical drugs and visual identity for brands such as Pocari Sweat sports drink (Otsuka Pharmaceutical), MAQuillAGE (Shiseido) and IPSA. He also produced independent publications in parallel, such as Typographic Reflections. Schmid taught at Kobe Design University from 2000 to 2010, and Hongik University in Seoul for a year and a half from 2006.
