Profile
Joined Heibon-sha in 1973. After working on the editorial staff of "Anima" and "Taiyo," he left the publisher in 1981 and founded CAP in 1983. His previous credits as art director include "Marie Claire," "Ryuko Tsushin" and "olive." At present he handled "VOGUE NIPPON," "GQ JAPAN," "GINZA," "BRUTUS," "Casa BRUTUS," and "STUDIO VOICE." He has designed about 100 magazines. He has also designed ad campaigns for Louis Vuitton, Beams, and Roppongi Hills. In 1996, he opened the gallery ROCKET in Harajuku. After moving to Omote Sando, the gallery opened the store ROCKET to sell works of art.
