日本雑誌協会、日本書籍出版協会50周年記念企画。雑誌デザインの第一人者、藤本やすし（Cap）のプロデュースにより、雑誌デザインの先端シーンを10組のクリエイターの取り組みを通して紹介。シンガポールの雑誌『WERK』とのコラボレーションにより、同10組のクリエイターが「アートとしての雑誌」を制作し、雑誌メディアの新たなる可能性を示す。

Japan Magazine Publishers Association and japan Book Publishers Association's 50th anniversary commemoration. The exhibition was produced by one of Japan's top magazine designers, Yasushi Fujimoto (Cap), and featured ten creators' initiatives in the cutting edge of the magazine design scene. In collaboration with the Singaporean magazine "Werk," those ten creators designed a limited print run of "a magazine as art." The show an unexplored territory, demonstrating new possibilities for this medium.

東京生まれ。1988年東京藝術大学美術学部デザイン科卒業。ライトパブリシティ入社。2001年よりフリーランスのグラフィックデザイナー、アートディレクター。「キユーピーハーフ」、JR東日本等広告のディレクション、雑誌『真夜中』『流行通信』等アートディレクション、三菱一号館美術館等CI、東京国立近代美術館等展覧会告知物デザインのほか、写真集や画集等ブックデザインを多数手がける。東京ADC賞・ADC会員賞、第6回亀倉雄策賞、東京TDCグランプリほか受賞。

Born in Tokyo. In 1988, upon graduating from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, he joined Light Publicity. since 2001, he has worked freelance as a graphic designer and art director. His most notable work to date includes advertising for "Kewpie Half" mayonnaise, art direction for "Mayonaka" and "Ryuko Tsushin" magazines, CI for Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum, and numerous book designs. Awards won to date include Tokyo ADC Awards, the Yusaku Kamekura Design Award, and the Tokyo TDC Grand Prix.

Born in Tokyo. Graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music in 1988 with degree in design. That year he entered Light Publicity. Since April 2001 he has worked as a freelance. He is a member of Tokyo ADC, Tokyo TDC and JAGDA.

兵庫県生まれ。西脇高校卒業。近年の活動は、1982・84・91年南天子画廊、1985年パリビエンナーレ展、サンパウロビエンナーレ展、1986年「東京その形と心展」（ロサンゼルス現代美術館他アメリカ巡回）、「前衛芸術の日本展1910-1970」（パリ・ジョルジュ・ポンビドーセンター）、1987年セゾン美術館、フジテレビギャラリー、ピッツバーグ・カーネギー・メロン大学、1988年「モダン・ポスター展」（ニューヨーク近代美術館）、1989年バングラデシュ・アジア・アート・ビエンナーレ展（名誉賞受賞）、1990年富山市民プラザ、渋谷・シードホール、1991年キリンプラザ大阪、佐賀町エキジビット・スペース、「Beyond Japan: A Photo Theatre」（ロンドン・バービガンギャラリー）など多数の展覧会に見られる。

兵庫県生まれ。72年にニューヨーク近代美術館で個展。その後もパリ、ヴェネツィア、サンパウロ、バングラデッシュなど各国のビエンナーレに出品し世界的に活躍する。アムステルダムのステデリック美術館、パリのカルティエ財団現代美術館での個展など海外での発表が多く国際的に高い評価を得ている。2012年、神戸に横尾忠則現代美術館開館。2013年、香川県豊島に豊島横尾館開館。2015年、第27回高松宮殿下記念世界文化賞受賞。作品は、国内外多数の主要美術館に収蔵されており、今後も世界各国の美術館での個展が予定されている。

Born in Hyogo Prefecture, he graduated from Nishiwaki High School. Recent activities include exhibitions at the Nantenshi Gallery in 1982, 1984 and 1991, the 1985 Paris Biennial, the San Paulo Biennial, "Tokyo Form and Spirit" in 1986 (Los Angeles Museum of Modern Art and a U.S. tour), "Japanese Avant-Garde Art 1910-1970" (Paris, Pompidou Center), the Saison Art Museum in 1987, the Fuji TV Gallery, Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburg, the 1988 Modern Poster Exhibition (New York Museum of Modern Art),  the 1989 Bangladesh Asian Art Biennial, the 1990 Toyama Shimin Plaza, Seed Hall in Shibuya, the 1991 Kirin Plaza Osaka, Sagacho Exhibit Space, and "Beyond JAPAN: A Photo Theatre" (the Barbican Art Gallery, London）.

Born in Hyogo Prefecture. Holds a solo exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art (New York) in 1972. Subsequent participation in the biennales of Paris, Venice, Sao Paulo, and Bangladesh place Yokoo on the world stage. His many foreign exhibitions, such as solo exhibitions at the Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam) and the Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain (Paris), bring Yokoo international acclaim. The Yokoo Tadanori Museum of Contemporary Art is established in Kobe in 2012. The Teshima Yokoo House is established on Teshima Island in Kagawa Prefecture in 2013. Awarded the 27th Praemium Imperiale in 2015. Yokoo’s works are in the collections of major art museums in Japan and abroad, and solo exhibitions are scheduled in coming years at art museums around the world.

アメリカ、テキサス州生まれ。社会学の学士号を取得し、高校で教鞭をとるかたわら、世界のランキングに入るサーファーとして活躍。1990年『Beach Culture』誌のAD、1992年『Ray Gun』誌のADを経て、現在カリフォルニア、サンディエゴでデビッド・カーソン・デザインを主宰している。

Born in Texas, he got his bachelor’s degree in sociology, and was a world ranking surfer while teaching in a high school. after being an art director for the magazine, "Beach Culture" in 1990 and "Ray Gun" in 1992, he is currently heading David Carson Design in San Diego, California. 

マティアス・オグスティニアックとミカエル・アムザラグによる二人組。1992年結成。アムザラグはパリ国立高等装飾美術学校卒（1986~90年）、オグスティニアックはロンドンの英国王立芸術大学でグラフィックデザインとアートディレクションの修士号を取得（1989~91年）。M/M自身を、文化と広告の間を戦略的かつクリエイティブに仲介する存在ととらえ、作品を通して既存の秩序が持つ枠を広げようと試みる。

M/M(Paris)is a unit formed by Mathias Augusytniak and Michael Amzalag in 1992. Augustyniak earned a masters degree in graphic design art directions at the Royal College of Art in London, in 1991; Amzalag attended Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Art Décoratifs (ENSAD) in Paris, 1986-1990. M/M sees itself as a strategic and creative mediator between culture and advertising, and through its works it seeks to expand the framework of existing order.
