    After graduating from Keio University, joined Dentsu in 1977. After working there for six years in the newspaper advertising bureau and 20 years in the creative bureau, serving as copywriter, creative director and bureau chief, in July 2003 he established Shingata Inc. With a focus on corporate and product image creation, he continued to produce an ongoing array of highly appealing advertising works. among his awards to date are the Tokyo ADC Grand Prize and the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival Good Award.
