Profile
Born in 1945 in Loriol-sur-Drôme. Emeritus Professor of contemporary art, and research director in Aesthetics of New Media at the University Paris 8; he curated the biennial “Artifices” (Saint-Denis, 1990–1996), the “Revue Virtuelle” (Centre Pompidou, 1991–1996), the cycles “Jouable” (Geneva, Kyoto, Paris, 2002–2004) and “Mobilisable” (2008–2013). His interactive installations have been exhibited internationally since 1985. His publications include: La relation comme forme. L’interactivité en art (Mamco, Geneva, 2009).
