大阪ハンブルク友好都市提携10周年記念事業「ハンブルク in Osaka」の数々のイベントの1つとして、ハンブルクで活躍するマチスとフライリンガーの作品約80点を展示。

As one of the events of ”Hamburg in Osaka," a 10th anniversary event of the Osaka Hamburg Friendly Cities, about 80 works by Matthies and Freilinger from Hamburg were shown.

ハングルク生まれ。1961～66年、実業美術学校とハンブルク造形芸術アカデミーに学ぶ。1966年からフリーのグラフィックデザイナー。1994年ベルリン芸術大学教授。エッセン・ポスター美術展金賞、ワルシャワ国際ポスタービエンナーレ金賞など受賞多数。

Born in Hamburg, he studied at the Works School of Art and the University of Formative Art in Hamburg from 1961-66. He became a free graphic designer in 1966 and a professor at the Berlin University of Art in 1994. His many awards include the Essen Poster Museum Gold and the Warsaw International Poster Biennale Gold.

ハンブルク生まれ。1987～90年、ミュンヘンのルードヴィッヒ・マクシミリアン大学に学ぶ。1994年マチス教授のもとで専攻研究。1996～97年ハンブルクの広告代理店でAD。1997年からフリーのグラフィックデザイナー。

Born in Hamburg, she studied at the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich from 1987-90. She researched her specialty under professor Matthies in 1994. She was an art director at a Hamburg advertising agency from 1996-97 and has been graphic designer since 1997.
